As the Principal Physician Relations Specialist, you will play a strategic and execution-focused role within Surgeon Partnerships & Innovation, leading the planning and delivery of Customer Experience Programs (CEPs) and advancing surgeon partnership initiatives across Spine Procedure and Development teams. You will be responsible for creating a consistent, high-quality CST experience for surgeons—translating business priorities into meaningful engagements through hands-on demonstrations, procedural education, and coordinated cross-functional execution. Partnering closely with CST Marketing, R&D, Enabling Technologies, Sales Leadership, Legal, and Compliance, you will ensure surgeon engagement efforts are prioritized, compliant, and directly tied to commercial outcomes, including procedural adoption, capital utilization, and long-term partnership growth. This role requires strong program leadership, cross-functional influence, and the ability to manage complex physician relationships in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead end-to-end execution of Customer Experience Programs (CEPs), including development of standardized content and decks, coordination of hands-on demos and overviews (e.g., Navigation, Robotics, Procedural Solutions), and delivery of a consistent, high-quality surgeon experience

  • Partner with CST ET DMs, RSDs, AVPs, and Marketing to identify, prioritize, and prepare high-impact surgeon engagements aligned to business objectives

  • Coordinate Spine Procedure and Development Project team activities, ensuring alignment across Marketing, R&D, Sales, and Surgeon Partnerships

  • Conduct quarterly alignment reviews with Marketing, R&D, and Surgeon Partnerships to assess program effectiveness, surgeon engagement, and opportunities to elevate the overall CST experience

  • Evaluate surgeon engagement and program performance, proactively identifying gaps, risks, and growth opportunities

  • Ensure consistent execution of governance and documentation processes across procedure teams and projects, with a focus on enhancing the surgeon experience and operational excellence

  • Drive execution discipline through structured tracking, clear action planning, and cross-functional communication, including defined follow-through on CEP-related commitments

  • Lead post-CEP follow-up, ensuring actionable next steps are completed and aligned to defined business objectives (e.g., adoption, conversions, capital pull-through)

  • Own and track post-program impact metrics (e.g., engagement progression, procedural adoption, revenue influence), providing visibility to stakeholders and informing future prioritization

  • Travel approximately 15–20%
