About the role

Who are we, and what do we do?

At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what’s next. No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture – leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.

Corteva is seeking to hire a Full-Stack Engineer – Decision Intelligence & Digital Twin Systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build interactive front-end interfaces and scalable back-end services to power decision intelligence systems, AI models, and digital twin platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts to transform high-dimensional and dynamic data into intuitive and explorable applications.
  • Visualize model outputs such as forecasts, simulations, recommendations, and scenario comparisons using modern charting libraries.
  • Build human-in-the-loop workflows for scenario exploration, model evaluation, and what-if analysis.
  • Contribute to a modular design system that promotes reusable components and consistency across dashboards.
  • Harden applications for enterprise use: containerization, CI/CD automation, testing, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Technical Skills You’ll Need:

Required

  • Strong front-end development experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end tooling.
  • Proficiency in back-end development using Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js, including building REST APIs and working with async workflows.
  • Familiarity with Docker, containerized development, and setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience developing data-rich dashboards and visualizations using libraries like D3.js, Plotly, or Recharts.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, including information architecture and interactive design.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization systems (e.g., MSAL, OAuth2.0).
  • Comfortable working with relational and non-relational databases, and integrating with cloud-native platforms (Azure, Databricks, etc.).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time data streaming or WebSockets (e.g., Kafka, MQTT).
  • Exposure to digital twin systems, simulation-based models, or geospatial dashboards.
  • Understanding of visualizing uncertainty, multi-scenario comparisons, or probabilistic forecasts.
  • Familiarity with user testing, A/B testing, and iterative product development cycles.
  • Experience deploying to and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, Databricks Workflows).

About You

  • You’re a product-minded engineer who enjoys building both the front and back ends of impactful applications.
  • You care about visual clarity, transparency in AI systems, and building tools that empower users to explore complex models intuitively.
  • You’re excited to work with cross-functional teams—including scientists, engineers, and stakeholders—to co-design features and deliver real-world impact.
  • You’re proactive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and ready to help shape the future of AI-driven decision systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of full-stack development experience, with a portfolio showcasing data-heavy or technical applications.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in multidisciplinary teams.
  • (Optional) Equivalent experience via open-source projects, self-directed learning, or interdisciplinary work is welcome.
