Job Summary

• Disseminate information to the public regarding the college’s allied health program offerings, services, policies, and functions.
• Review student applications and assist with new student orientations.
• Responsible for filing, scanning, organizing, and creating new student folders.
• Answer all incoming calls related to allied health programs.
• Assist the Director of Nursing and Allied Health by collecting and tracking clinical health documents.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

 

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, Technical Diploma or A.S. degree preferred, and three (3) years of office work required. Experience in an allied health profession preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

The individual is responsible for a range of duties including admissions and recruiting of the following allied health programs: Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, Central Sterile Processing Technology, and other allied-health-related programs that may be developed at TCAT Jackson and its extension campuses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Possesses good customer service skills, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks as required.
