- Facilitate and participate in the preparation of ML data sets and scoring processes
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of real-time and snapshotted data sources from across the company, as well as Analytics team members responsible for various sources.
- Work with the Data Scientists to develop and implement key machine learning models
- Develop and support the ML portion of the Enterprise Data Platform strategy to maximize the distribution of ML predictions and recommendations, including API-based ML scoring and data warehouse-based access
- Incorporate workflows into ML Data Engineering processes, to automate, monitor, and produce alerts
- Implement performance tuning and query optimization
- Act as a resource to the Machine Learning team with regards to Data Lifecycle Management
- Keep pace with latest technology across various databases, data lakes, warehouses etc
- Collaborate with Analytics team members to follow all documented architecture, design & deployment processes to ensure compliance with policies
- Design and develop scalable, reusable data models
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar. Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience with suite of data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Big Data , Python, Azure ML, Azure ADLS)
- Experience with Feature Engineering and Feature Lifecycle management for features used in ML models
- Experience with Data architecture , Data governance , Data quality , Data Security
- Expertise in SQL is a must – Minimum 4 yrs of SQL exp is desired
- Knowledge of Sales , Marketing , Customer , Product domain is a plus
- Exposure to data science / ML is a plus
- Experience in ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, reporting & dashboard development
- Experience in BI technologies like Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Expertise in working with cross functional teams across different geos
- Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically disperse team
- Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in analytics technologies and the ability to learn new technology
