This position will offer some flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Asset Management (Global HAM)
- Oversee global hardware lifecycle management for end-user devices, data center assets, network equipment, and regional infrastructure.
- Ensure standardized asset tracking from procurement through deployment, refresh, transfer, and retirement across geographies.
- Align ITAM practices with global regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection, software licensing, environmental compliance).
- Drive global hardware standards and refresh strategies while accounting for regional sourcing and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure secure asset disposition and data destruction in compliance with regional data privacy and environmental regulations.
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to manage global asset risk and eliminate unknown or unmanaged devices.
Software Asset Management (Global SAM)
- Lead global software and SaaS license management across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Establish global license compliance and audit response programs, including coordination across regions and vendors.
- Act as the executive lead for global vendor audits and negotiations.
- Drive enterprise-wide cost optimization through license rationalization, global contract leverage, and usage analytics.
- Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Finance to align global contracts with regional consumption and compliance needs.
CMDB & Configuration Management (Global)
- Own the global CMDB strategy, architecture, and maturity roadmap.
- Ensure the CMDB functions as a trusted, enterprise system of record for assets, services, and configuration items.
- Establish global data standards, naming conventions, and relationship models with regional governance controls.
- Oversee discovery, service mapping, and integrations supporting accurate, near-real-time CMDB data.
- Enable global IT Service Management (ITSM) processes through high-quality configuration and asset data.
Global Financial, Risk & Compliance Management
- Partner with global and regional Finance teams on IT asset budgeting, forecasting, capitalization, depreciation, and chargeback/showback.
- Reduce global financial, operational, and regulatory risk related to asset mismanagement or non-compliance.
- Ensure readiness for internal and external audits across regions.
