Odyssey House is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Transitional Housing!

Location: Various Locations


Compensation: $20.00/hourly

Functions of the Job:


Executive Support:

  • Completes a wide variety of administrative tasks for the Director including: 
  • Respond promptly to managers’ queries
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs
  • Handles matters expeditiously, and proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. 
  • Attend department and interdepartmental meetings as required

Program Support:

  • Administers program grant requirements
  • Helps manage all documentation required for housing and client funding programs
  • Collaborates with other departments including finance

Client Support:

  • Helps manage client crises onsite and via phone
  • Conduct urinalysis for clients as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements


Licensure / Education / Prior Experience Required:

  • Willingness and ability to pass a criminal background check
  • First Aid and CPR Certification 
  • Must comply with annual TB tests Flu immunization and other required immunizations.
  • Must meet employment eligibility

Physical Demands of the Job: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs., drive (or adequate alternate transportation), sit for prolonged periods, and perform light to moderate physical activity at times.
