The Truist Internship provides college students with a working and immersion experience to sharpen their skills. During this internship, time is focused on internship long projects with other students and full-time, experienced teammates. Interns have the opportunity to network with other interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Truist interns sharpen the leadership, technical, and business skill they'll use for the rest of their careers. The internship program serves as a pipeline to our Truist full-time programs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build business acumen and leadership skills by actively participating in and completing all development activities.
Develop business unit knowledge.
Complete projects or assignments that assist the department and support Truist goals.
Collaborate and network with teammates to form lasting professional connections.
Attend enrichment activities and events with peers and senior leaders.
Help solve day to day projects and work on assignments. Receive classroom and on-the-job training
Network with senior executives and associates to form lasting professional connections
Receive and invite ongoing performance coaching and written feedback

Required Skills

Working towards the completion of a BA/BS or advanced degree program at an accredited college or university. Business-related degree or coursework preferred. (Technical Majors preferred: Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, Innovation, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, User Experience, Industrial Design, Architecture, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction or related field etc.)
Demonstrated strong academic performance.
Demonstrated leadership through on-campus involvement or work experience
Demonstrated strong initiative, adaptability/flexibility, and growth mindset
Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a professional team environment
Demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
