About the role

The Software Integration Engineer will join our growing global Integration Software Team (IST). This customer interacting role is responsible for deployment configuration and production support between our clients’ Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) applications and the LocusNet. The successful candidate will have experience setting up and maintaining integrations between complex software systems that provide mission critical data for our Locus Robots.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the initial deployment software configuration between our clients’ Warehouse Management System (WMS) system and LocusNet. 
  • Assess customer WMS software requirements and match to the Locus standard API.  
  • Provide production technical support by Identifying and troubleshooting functional gaps and facilitate interactive test sessions.
  • Execute deployment automation to facilitate test and production upgrades.
  • Participate in customer video conferencing meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with Locus Customer Success organization to communicate and educate customers regarding Locus API functionality. 
  • Work a rotating on-call pager duty for customer production support, which may include weekends and/or overnight shifts as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study (or equivalent technical experience) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with warehouse management systems or similar supply chain technologies.
  • 1 year experience with following technologies: SQL/ TSQL, XML and JSON.
  • 1 year experience with communications frameworks such as REST, SOAP, Sockets, and message queueing.
  • 1 year experience with GitHub.
  • 1 year Experience with software troubleshooting and customer support.
  • Working knowledge in C# .NET desirable.
  • Experience with engineering ticketing systems such as Jira.
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Operate with a strong work ethic and an unrelenting resolve to follow through and meet commitments.
