Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy

Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a Full Time Endoscopy Nurse to work 4x10 shifts/week with rotating weekend and holiday call. 

• RN with at least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy, Pre-Op, Intra-Op or Post-op experience is highly desired.

Schedule- 4x10 shifts per week, 7a-5.30p; rotating days with on call requirements: weekends (Sat and Sun 8a-6p) every 5 weeks, rotating holiday call.

This beautiful community Hospital located in the city of Alexandria is equipped with 11 OR suites and 4 Endoscopy Suites.  Comprehensive range of surgical specialties to include, orthopedics-total joints, sports medicine, spine, general ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, vascular, neurosurgery, podiatry, and maxillofacial. Full range of Endoscopy services including Heartburn Treatment.

Job Requirements:

• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse-
  One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
• Education-Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, Complete BSN within 5 years of start date
