Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting - FUSF/SUSF to join our growing Finance team!
In this role, you will report directly to the Manager, Regulatory Reporting. This position will be an important part of a best-in-class Regulatory Reporting function for a growing telecommunications company. You will support the Company's processes and procedures associated with the certification of Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) and State Universal Service Fund (SUSF) exemptions, including responding to customer disputes and issues & inquiries related to SUSF and FUSF. You will need to have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and will need to be proactive and detail oriented.
As a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting - (FUSF/SUSF), your duties will include:
- Process annual FUSF certification and SUSF certification forms
- Responsible for annual updating, maintenance, and testing of the FUSF Portal
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer disputes and inquires related to FUSF and SUSF issues
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder groups to assess, analyze, validate, and ensure accuracy of submissions
- Ensure that Company policies and procedures are followed in the coordination and calculation of FUSF & SUSF credits and adjustments
- Maintain proper controls, robust documentation, and change management to provide assurance that the Company is operating a best-in-class reporting environment
- Identify and communicate issues and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- 5+ years relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Regulatory, or related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Strong communication and project management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational, data analysis, and analytical skills
- Complete ownership and accountability of the function given the deadline-oriented nature of the position
- Ability to effectively communicate with external customers
- Adaptable to changing business environment and organizational structure.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Telecommunications industry knowledge
- Experience with SAP, billing system functionality, audits, and customer dispute resolution
- Familiarity and experience with FUSF and SUSF related matters
