About the role

<p>We wish to appoint a Risk Management Senior Consultant  in our Banking / Financial Risk Management Consulting team in Athens, to be involved in various projects for leading Greek and international Banks and other financial institutions.</p><p>For the right candidate, the positions offer excellent advancement opportunities.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Be part of a client-oriented team that provides advice on banking regulations, supervisory guidelines, and expectations on institutions’ risk management practices.</li> <li>Have full-service coverage across all financial risk types.</li> <li>Work in a professional environment characterized by strong team spirit.</li> <li>Participate in interesting, innovative, and challenging projects in Greece and abroad.</li> <li>Have the opportunity to develop through the constant support and guidance from other members of the team, and empower your professional excellence.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>BSc and/or a MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Risk Management, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, or other related field with strong quantitative focus. </li> <li>Ph.D. or other certification in risk management (e.g., PRM, CFA, FRM) will be considered as an asset.</li> <li>At least 6 years of working experience in financial risk management in banks/financial institutions. Experience in consultancy will be highly regarded.</li> <li>Good knowledge of the risk management framework design and implementation as well as CRR/CRD, EBA guidelines and IFRS 9.</li> <li>Experience in credit risk model development/validation. Additional expertise in ICAAP, ILAAP, Stress Testing will be highly valued.</li> <li>Strong numerical and programming skills, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as R, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB, or STATA</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details.</li> <li>Good knowledge of banking products.</li> <li>Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.</li> <li>Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of a firm.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
