About the role

Description

The Department of Leadership, Language and Curriculum's Bilingual-Bicultural Education Program and the Department of Teacher Education's World Languages Program, in the College of Education, invite expressions of interest for part-time faculty teaching opportunities, for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 Academic Years. Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview. Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and selected individuals will work with program faculty to determine a quarterly schedule. Courses are not guaranteed; however the Department does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.

The Bilingual-Bicultural Education and World Languages Programs seek applicants with expertise and experience in the following areas:

� Bilingual Education
� ESL
� World Languages Education

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Master's degree. Some courses may require a Doctorate degree.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience in working in teaching in an diverse learning environment.

Safety and Security Statement - Clery Act:

A copy of DePaul University's Safety and Security Information Report and Fire Safety Report is available upon request.  The report includes statistics about crimes that occurred on campus and public property immediately adjacent to campus.  The report includes institutional policies concerning campus security, sexual assault and other matters.  It also includes fire statistics, fire safety practices and standards of the institution.  A copy of this report can be obtained by contacting the Crime Prevention Office at 773-325-7775 or by visiting the DePaul Public Safety website at http://publicsafety.depaul.edu .
