Senior Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab

Senior Cardiovascular Technologist - Cath Lab at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. Available positions are 10-hour, full-time and part-time, variable shifts. 

Assists the Interventional Radiologist, Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist, Anesthesiologist and Vascular Surgeon with the performance of a variety of technical procedures in the Cardiovascular Lab (CVL) department and other locations where CVL procedures are performed. These procedures include but are not limited to percutaneous interventional and diagnostic cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures.  Participates in all daily duties necessary to perform high quality patient care, imaging and those duties necessary for the running of department. Responsible for obtaining optimal radiographs and assisting the physician in an aseptic environment.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of Radiologic Technologist program
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire or National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire or National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography upon hire or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 1 year of Diagnostic Radiology
• 1 year of Interventional Cardiovascular Lab must include scrub role.

Preferred qualifications:

• CVT registered upon hire
• 1 year of EP experience, or successfully completion of EP course.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
