Security Officer - Bank Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Bank Foot Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
