Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with an active Top Secret SCI security clearance to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. In this role you will work with a team to deploy, operate, and maintain cloud-based applications. You should be knowledgeable and customer-oriented, possessing strong communication and presentation skills. You should also have superior technical expertise and a problem-solving aptitude.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure classified Information Systems (IS) meet cybersecurity and Government directives and requirements
• Obtain and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) via the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Develop and update Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)/Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP), System Security Plan (SSP), Concept of Operation (CONOP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP), and Security Test Plan (STP), ISCP
• Regularly conduct STIG and SRG reviews against Information Systems (IS)
• Review vulnerability scan reports and mitigate vulnerabilities with technical SMEs
• Experience in working with eMass
• Experience in reviewing ACAS Scans
• Experience in using STIG Viewer

Location:

• This position requires onsite work at least 3 days per week at the Joint Spectrum Center in Annapolis, Maryland.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with willingness for CI Polygraph
• 4 years of experience in FISMA compliance requirements and NIST RMF
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II/IAM Level I certification; CompTIA Security+
• Experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field
• Active DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level III certification; ISC2 CISSP
• Other certifications: EC-Council CEH, GIAC
• Experience in Xacta 360

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $120,000.00 - $160,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
