Security Patrol Officer – Full Time

Location: Aurora, CO

Rate: $20.50/HR

Available Schedule:

• Tues – Sat: 10PM – 6AM
• Thurs – Mon: 10PM – 6AM
• Tues / Wed: 6AM – 6PM & Sat / Sun: 2PM – 10PM

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to utilize a company issued vehicle to respond to incidents, perform tours, and patrol lots for any suspicious activities. You will be trained on various functions to include vehicle/personnel searches, gate procedures and will utilize technology to verify necessary information. It is a fast-paced team environment that requires attention to detail, while being able to provide a great customer experience. 

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Patrols conducted in company vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.
• Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment, appropriate escalation and use of force is required.
• Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. 
• Responsible for verifying gate passes, vehicle access documentation and completing vehicle searches.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred. 
• Security experience a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Valid drivers license required and must be able to pass an MVR.
