Graphic Designer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced graphic designer to work with our internal marketing team on evolving and bringing our brand to life through collateral, website, sales enablement, swag, special projects, events, and more.

🌍 You can work from (almost) anywhere in Europe and South Africa. We are a remote company, but regularly meet in person, too. As a German company originally, we can support with visa processes only for candidates based in Germany.

🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here: 

• Translating our brand and personable experience into a representation that helps our users, partners and any industry peers understand our value proposition.

• Supporting our website design and content marketing creation and maintenance (blog, ebooks, one pagers, social media assets, videos, infographics, and more), as well as other types of marketing collateral (printed material, swag, experiential marketing elements, etc.).

• Managing other design needs such as presentations, signage, swag and event collateral as needed.

• Bringing new ideas for design to the team using your expertise, helping take the cargo.one http://cargo.one brand to the next level.

• Developing templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in the execution of day-to-day marketing assets on social media, email, and other channels.

• Keeping an eye cross-company to ensure visuals are on brand.

🕵 We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience as either an in-house designer or at a marketing agency.

• Have experience building brands with multiple target personas.

• Have designed and maintained websites for SaaS products.

• Have experience using Figma to design, as well as collaborate/iterate on feedback.

• Have outstanding attention to detail and quality standards.

• Are exceptionally well-organized to efficiently tackle tasks at a high frequency and quality.

• Demonstrate good judgment in advising the team and making expert recommendations/proposals.

• Can communicate clearly and effectively within the team but also cross-team and company-wide.

• Are willing to adjust course when appropriate new ideas or objections are raised.

• Embrace uncertainty and displays a high level of adaptability.

• Are willing to learn and open to accepting feedback, generously giving their own in return.

• Have experience creating videos and motion graphics. 

 💫 Nice to haves:

• Experience building websites using Webflow.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience working with Jira for project and task management.

• A passion for storytelling.
