Revenue Manager/Senior Revenue Analyst

We are transforming Groupon, and you can be part of our team - we are looking for a Revenue Manager/Senior Revenue Analyst with the potential to take over part of the team within 3-5 months.

• You will report directly to Groupon's senior management member, SVP Revenue, Branislav Majorský.
• We expect you to contribute to the creation and establishment of revenue planning, analytics, and business partnering processes.
• Ideally, you will take it as a project that you will manage and actively drive.
• It's a rocket start - exceptionally capable candidates can discuss a leadership role relatively quickly (within weeks to months).
• A leadership role in a company listed on Nasdaq with an annual turnover of 2 billion USD is not something you see often in the Czech Republic.
• The transformation of Groupon is undoubtedly the most interesting business and e-commerce project in the environment of the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
• What you learn here in 3 months takes years elsewhere.
• We are only at the beginning of our journey, the most challenging and interesting things are yet to come - we will be looking for ways to multiply revenue, and I'm looking for someone who will actively and significantly contribute to it.
   

Typical Responsibilities

• Revenue modeling & analytics - responsible for preparing targets, their evaluation, variance analysis, and more. You must be able to work with Excel and communicate directly with higher and lower management across Groupon.
• Analysis of results and key financial and non-financial metrics for the entire marketplace - from geographical aspects, supply (product categories and types, sales teams, etc.), traffic channels, platforms to website performance.
• Partnering with key business stakeholders across Groupon - Revenue management, Supply, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others.
• With the aim of actively promoting decisions and changes that will lead to revenue and profit growth for the company.
• Team Leadership.

What we are looking for and expect from you

• Senior experience (ideally 5 or more years) in positions such as financial analyst, investment analyst, controlling, FP&A, and similar.
• Experience in private equity, venture capital, or consulting would be ideal.
• Strong accountability for results (in a team) and responsibility for income management and execution of action steps.
• The ability to quickly execute analytical steps, set processes within the team, and professionalize procedures.
• Financial knowledge (planning, controlling, reporting, business cases, etc.) closely tied to the business.
• Working with data tools, advanced analysis, and the ability to interpret business results.
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplaces, or in consulting companies, private equity, or venture funds.
• If you have worked in a results-oriented, numbers-focused company, we will get along well.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and SQL is required.
• We require excellent communication skills and advanced English.
• You must be assertive and determined, with strong problem-solving abilities.
