Senior Manager, Test Engineering

<p><strong>Joining Collibra’s Test Engineering team</strong></p> <ul> <li>You will drive the implementation and adoption of Testing strategy across scrum teams, including automation and performance test strategy, processes, frameworks, tools and techniques across Collibra teams.</li> <li>Optimize the testing approach and increase quality by leveraging context-driven testing principles and value-added automation.</li> <li>You will continuously monitor and calibrate the testing activities, test results, and actively lead active root cause analysis, to identify areas of improvement and drive required improvements.</li> <li>You will provide 'hands on' expertise and support to the Test Engineers and SDETs in delivery of testing frameworks, environments and cross-cutting testing solutions.</li> </ul> <p>This is a hybrid position based in Brussels, Belgium.</p> <p><strong><em>Sr. Managers, Test Engineering </em></strong><strong>at Collibra are responsible for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coach and mentor Test Engineers &amp; SDETs, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement along with mentoring cross-functional teams to adopt customer-centric quality practices.</li> <li>Evaluate, standardize, and evolve our automation tools, frameworks, and practices across Collibra, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.</li> <li>Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes, providing recommendations on issues, processes, and testing practices.</li> <li>Partner with cross functional leaders to drive automation initiatives, advocate for quality, and champion a testing-first mindset across the organization.</li> <li>Define and implement cross-product, platform-level E2E testing strategies that guarantee seamless integration and optimal performance.</li> <li>Lead testing efforts across one or more agile Scrum teams, promoting shift-left testing and context-driven approaches to ensure rapid and reliable releases.</li> <li>Collaborate with VP, Test Engineering, in order to drive testing initiatives and promote Quality awareness and mindset across the organization.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience: 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 years in direct management of testing teams, preferably in a SaaS environment.</li> <li>Critical Thinking: Proven ability to challenge the architecture, design and implementation to drive quality.</li> <li>Technical Expertise: Proven ability to design, test, and scale complex systems. You will be fostering a culture of continuous improvement and evidenced knowledge, providing a positive impact on team morale and productivity through effective coaching, mentoring, and leadership. </li> </ul
