Applicants with previous agricultural or <b>production experience will be considered preferred.  </b>Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview.</p><p><b>Requirements: </b>Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.</p><p><b>Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.</b></p><p><b>Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.</b></p><p>Company: Cobb</p><p></p><p><b>Schedule</b>:  Monday through Friday</p><p><b>Hours</b>: 5:00 am – 1:00 pm including Holidays.  <b>Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs. </b></p><p></p><p><b>Position Summary:</b></p><ul><li>This position provides general labor in the selection, vaccination, blood pull movements of all the Cobb products housed at Cobb contract farms.  Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li>Performs selection, vaccination, blood pull, movement, clean out of all Cobb products/facilities. (35%)</li><li>Loads Cobb products into modules and on to the truck for transport to designated processing plant. (35%)</li><li>Cleans and disinfects Cobb poultry houses, vehicles, modules and equipment. (20%)</li><li>Duties may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.  Such as:  Participates in research trials weighing meat, handling knives and reading scales as needed, sprays insecticides as needed, collects samples of surface area with drag swabs or swabs birds for health inspection. (10%)</li></ul><p><b>Biosecurity/Animal Welfare/Safety Requirements</b>:</p><ul><li>The jobsite is a bio secure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility.  Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company.  No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing.  Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
