Infrastructure Project Manager

Key Role:

Support a federal client as a Veteran Integrated Services Network (VISN) Project Manager. Support project management across multiple projects across the VISN. Support the planning of projects and mitigate risks associated with IT network infrastructure installations, including space, power, cabling, HVAC, and fire code. Utilize Power BI to effectively summarize and communicate status and trends with the Program Office and external stakeholders. Move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to guide the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress, while bringing people together to make a tangible difference.  

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with managing infrastructure build-outs associated with IT projects
• Experience with tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress
• Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies
• Ability to positively influence stakeholder performance, articulate agency and program guidance and requirements, and monitor best practices as they relate to cost and schedule
• Ability to lead or support senior leadership presentations, data calls, and interagency collaboration
• Ability to manage data sets and data entry within SharePoint and MS Project
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, Project Management, or IT

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in Veterans Affairs
• Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records
• Experience with government acquisition
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs)
• Experience with managing and maintaining project milestones and statuses for large portfolios of dispersed project
• Project Management Certification, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile Certification
