Job Title: CHIPS Act Training Coordinator and Administrator – Fixed Term Contract

 

Job Overview:

TSMC Arizona is seeking three highly reliable and enthusiastic individuals for 12-month Fixed Term positions as CHIPS Act Training Coordinators and Administrators. These roles are crucial for supporting the implementation and monitoring of training programs across three departments:

Learning and Development (L&D),

Facilities (FAC), and the

Training Promotion Team (TPT).

The positions involve identifying system capabilities, making recommendations, and implementing new ideas to meet the needs of our internal customers within the learning system. The ideal candidates will embody our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust.

 This is a temporary 12-month fixed term, on site contract position funded through the CHIPs Act.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Coordination:
    • Manage the administration and coordination of learning events and training.
    • Prepare and manage learning materials and content for course deployments.
    • Oversee training calendars, training rooms, invitations, and related communications via email, LMS, and Teams.
    • Complete course set-up, track learner progress, and generate reports from the LMS.
  • System and Process Management:
    • Identify and leverage the capabilities of SuccessFactors Learning to support TSMC’s training needs.
    • Create job aids and documentation for SuccessFactors learning processes and procedures.
    • Create, test, and launch courses in SuccessFactors Learning.
    • Serve as the main contact for employees with questions about systems and general training inquiries across departments.
  • Tracking and Reporting:
    • Track and report on Apprenticeship Programs and other training initiatives to the CHIPS Act dashboard or MS intensive program.
    • Manage learning indicators and reports.
    • Assist the team with additional training needs as required.
    • Maintain shared folders for training-related documentation.
  • Customer Service:
    • Demonstrate a customer service mindset and patience with repetitive questions and tasks.
    • Communicate effectively through email, Teams messages, and phone.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Associate degree in Instructional Systems Design, Learning, Adult Education, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or technical training management.
  • Experience in learning and development coordination and deployment.
  • Comfortable working with all levels within a company.
  • Strong attention to detail, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, graphs, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SuccessFactors Learning is preferred.
  • Ability to use technology effectively to support learning initiatives.
