These teams work on different parts of the platform but share a common mission: building scalable, reliable systems that power Adyen’s global financial ecosystem.</p> <p>Depending on your experience and strengths, you may join one of the following domains:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Unified Configuration <br></strong>Create a consistent platform experience by standardizing internal infrastructure and configuration systems that power Adyen’s financial products.<br><br></li> <li><strong>Finance Observability</strong><strong><br></strong> Enable transparent and reliable financial operations by building monitoring and alerting systems for critical financial flows across the platform.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Lead, grow, and mentor a team of 5–7 engineers building critical components of Adyen’s financial infrastructure.</li> <li>Guide the design and development of scalable distributed systems using Core Java, web services, queueing frameworks, REST APIs, and SQL/PostgreSQL.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with product and platform teams to design systems that are reliable, scalable, and easy to operate.</li> <li>Balance long-term technical improvements with product delivery.</li> <li>Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Set clear team goals aligned with engineering and product strategy.</li> <li>Improve operational excellence through automation, observabili
