The KLA Global Workplace Services (GWS) team is passionate about enabling the business goals and company culture through the delivery of workplace environments and services that foster teamwork, innovation and productivity. Our team runs a worldwide portfolio of over 3 million square feet, 135 sites and over 12,000 employees. In addition to ensuring the workspace and manufacturing facilities operate seamlessly, this group also provides employee and site services, such as cafeteria, transportation, security, and safety. The team is responsible for all construction and site improvement work to enable the business needs as well as align with the financial requirements.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Running, designing and construction capital project delivery independently from inception, defining, leading, monitoring, and reporting project progress, cost, and schedule
Collaborating with Project Controls, build cost plans and project estimates for scenario analysis and funding approval
Monitoring and reporting project cost including cost commitments, change trends, accrual, cashflow and depreciation forecast
Collaborating with Project Controls, Procurement and Accounts Payable, manage source to pay process - including competitive bidding, leveling, award, contracting, PO issuance and supplier payment
Providing periodic reports for senior management and leadership level stakeholders. Maintain effective communication with internal customers, GWS wide team, senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Providing reporting data for performance metrics tracking and benchmarking
Managing cross-functional partners and collaboration for projects and improvement initiatives
Establishing relationships with jurisdictions to understand local entitlement and permit processes and assist in expedition of planning and construction activities
Leading the development of architectural and engineering drawings and reviews with end-users, cross functional partners (EHS, Global Engineering, Security, IT, IFM, end users and technical SMEs) at key phases for consistency to standards, brief and best practices and alignment with cost and schedule
Looking for project savings and cost avoidance opportunities
Complete site visits, as required, to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction
Partnering closely with Environmental Health & Safety team to maintain KLA service and safety standards
Working closely with the GWS IFM team to integrate old and new systems.
Learning how KLA products integrate with the facility infrastructure in terms of installation specifications and utility consumptions. Work with business partners and customers, internal cross functional partners, engineers, designers, consultants, and contractors to define, plan, procure, implement, monitor, and close projects accordingly
Fostering good relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and leadership
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s level degree with eight (8) years of experience in capital construction program and project management
Deep knowledge and passion about construction and MEP systems and related data/technology tools and systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and confirmed ability to effectively represent businesses and drive decisions with senior executives
