Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Vice President, Digital Appliances is a divisional leadership role that directs the overall sales, marketing, product definition and delivery, supply chain and customer satisfaction for the Samsung Digital Appliance organization; responsible for establishing the strategy to gain market share, increase revenue and improve profitability across all DA product lines and solutions, and for pivoting the business plan to address shifting dynamics in the market and with our partners and customers.
Role & Responsibilities
Leads DA business sales, marketing, operations, product lifecycle management, supply chain and the overall success of the business.
Develops channels strategies, including utilization of business partners and alliances, to create a holistic go-to-market approach.
Develops, directs, and negotiates customer sales agreements at the corporate or business channel level and ensures that negotiated commitments are delivered according to plan. Builds deep customer relationships and engages directly/indirectly to identify new business opportunities and ensures a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Develops and retains a high quality, high performing sales, product management, marketing and supply chain teams that deliver positive results.
Engages directly and effectively with the leadership team at Global HQ in Suwon, South Korea to drive alignment and consistent execution of global business initiatives and objectives.
Operates at all times as an industry leader in the Appliance space and operates with a high level of executive presence while building a multi-billion-dollar growth plan.
Skills and Qualifications
20+ years of directly related GM and Go-to-Market experience in Consumer Electronics, Appliance or Consumer Goods industry.
Significant experience and proven success in B2C business operations, sales, and change management.
Experience managing a large sales and marketing organization with proven experience in achieving results with in defined timeframes and to meet objectives.
Understanding of technical product and development materials.
Demonstrated ability to lead large organizations and integrated customer/channel platforms with high mental, change, people and results agility.
Demonstrated ability to interact with executives and at all levels within customer organizations and across Samsung.
Negotiation and influencing skills with customers, internal peers, staff members, and vendors to approve plans, technical requirements, and project recommendations.
The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple business development programs and performance objectives.
Strong presentation and written/verbal communication skills; ability to deliver complex business and technical content to an audience of high technical skills and management experience.
Ability to develop sales and business objectives, make decisions and give the team direction, and measure individual/team performance against clearly defined goals and metrics.
Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $350,000 and $500,000. Actual pay
