Registered Nurse RN Adolescent Psychiatry | Day Shift

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join an Adolescent Psychiatry team caring for children and teens in an acute behavioral health setting. This is a great opportunity for a psych RN who enjoys building trust, supporting young patients, and working in a collaborative environment.

Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Adolescent Psychiatry

• Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 12-hour Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

• Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: At least 1 major holiday during the holiday season

Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience

• Pediatric clinical experience required

• BLS – AHA

• ACLS

• PALS

• CPI or PMCS certification required prior to start

• De-escalation training required

• BSN preferred, but not required

• First-time travelers are welcome

• Must be compassionate, patient, flexible, and comfortable working with children and adolescents in behavioral health
