The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for coordinating all QA tasks locally in Marrero, LA as well as providing QA support for other laboratories located throughout the nation.
What you will do:
- Perform independent audits as directed.
- Review and sign off on DOC forms.
- Act as a liaison between laboratories and accrediting bodies.
- Assist with the creation and finalization of administrative and analytical SOPs.
- Monitor corrective action.
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
- Other duties as required.
What you will bring:
- Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills, with a strong computer aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and assertively.
- Ability to take instructions and maintain predetermined schedules.
- Ability to work with other intra-laboratory supervisors in meeting QA objectives.
- Ability to interface with personnel from other subsidiary laboratories and regulatory agencies.
- Familiarity with NELAC standards is an asset.
