Commercial Drywall Installer/Finisher

With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Drywall Installer/Finisher to join our dynamic team.

Scope of Work:

The successful candidate will install, repair, and finish drywall in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality work, meet project deadlines, and maintain a safe work environment.

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Days off to be determined.

Compensation: $23.00- $25.00 per hour (Based on experience), Medical, Vision, Life, and 401k

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings
• Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to a smooth finish
• Repair damaged drywall as needed
• Read and follow blueprints or project plans
• Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

Requirements

• Previous experience as a drywall installer/finisher preferred
• Ability to read and interpret plans or blueprints
• Attention to detail and strong craftsmanship skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision  is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria

Physical Requirements:

• Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• May involve working at heights or in confined spaces
• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
• Must be capable of climbing and working from ladders up to 36 feet
