About You: We are looking for a strategic, hands-on finance leader who can blend operational excellence with business acumen. As our first senior finance hire, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, managing day-to-day operations, and influencing company direction. In order to be successful in this role you should be able to thrive in dynamic environments and operate at both the detailed and strategic levels. Your ability to connect financial insights with broader business goals will help M47 Labs achieve sustainable growth and innovation.

About Your Day-to-Day

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and drive the company’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.

• Provide strategic guidance to leadership on resource allocation, investment opportunities, and long-term financial planning.

• Analyze market trends in AI and professional services to shape pricing strategies and enhance competitive positioning.

• Collaborate with  People team and executives to define company strategy for compensation, salary frameworks, and related initiatives with financial impact.

Operational Finance Management

• Build and implement financial systems for budgeting, cash flow management, and cost optimisation.

• Lead financial planning, including forecasting, departmental expense tracking, and business plan development.

• Establish KPIs to measure and monitor financial performance.

• Manage relationships with external accounting firms, banks, and other financial partners to ensure compliance and efficiency

Pricing and Revenue Optimization

• Design scalable pricing models for our services, ensuring alignment with salary frameworks and market dynamics.

• Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to forecast client revenues and manage profitability.

Investment and Resource Allocation

• Develop financial strategies to balance R&D, operations, and growth investments.

• Optimize resource allocation by aligning budgets with company scaling efforts and innovation initiatives.

Risk and Compliance

• Oversee financial risk management to ensure organizational resilience.

• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring regulatory and stakeholder compliance.
