Description
The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for two full-time, tenured senior faculty positions (Associate/Full Professor). All areas of aerospace and mechanical engineering will be considered, but the department particularly encourages applications from individuals working in the fields of experimental Aerospace engineering or broadly in Robotics and Controls. Qualified candidates with demonstrated leadership capabilities will be considered for endowed positions.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an earned doctorate in an appropriate discipline. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated internationally distinguished record of scholarship, an externally funded research program, a record of excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, and active service within both their research community and the university.
