The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Plant Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Serving as the primary financial business partner for the Clarkston, Georgia and Lexington, Kentucky plants
• Leading plant teams through annual operating plan, monthly forecasting and review processes
• Support business teams with developing new business proposals
• Supporting business teams with government audits and maintaining compliance with Cost Accounting Standard (CAS)
• Collaborating with cross-functional business team members to assess the impact, prioritize, and implement initiatives to help the organization meet its financial and operational goals
• Leading or participating in special projects
• Ensuring compliance with 3M’s Global Financial Standards
• Influencing strategies, priorities, and resource allocation decisions for the plant.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance and Accounting (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of experience working in a corporate environment and/or financial services in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with government contract Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

Work location:

• 100% remote

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic.

Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $96,557 - $118,014, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
