Responsibilities:
Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design, and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
You'll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users as well as direct strategy for the operations teams. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech lead you will own the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.
Must have Qualifications:
- 10+ years of developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems.
- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, Python, or similar OO languages.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, design patterns and distributed systems.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive.
- Demonstrated ability to influence full system architecture.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.
- Platform and Production Engineering knowledge.

- Architect and design new features and systems for our customers.
- Work across teams to engineer the best system (for operations and customers) regardless of organizational boundaries or ownership.
- Debug, maintain, and improve existing systems, focusing especially on reducing operational burden and improving performance.
- Be a generalist who can debug issues across a wide breadth of our stack.
- Scale our systems by building tooling and automation.
- Work with partner teams outside our organization and externally with Oracle.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
