Occupational Therapist - SH Acute Therapy Services

A healthcare partner is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join an Acute Therapy Services team in Salem, OR. This position offers an opportunity to work in an acute therapy setting, providing essential care to individuals recovering from various conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients in the acute therapy setting.
• Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in an acute therapy setting is preferred.
