The Maintenance Mechanic is a semi-skilled position with a wide variety of abilities, including carpentry, finishes, doors/ hardware, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.  Those who apply should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction or maintenance field and me able to complete tasks efficiently and safely.  Applicants should be comfortable switching between tasks and skill sets throughout a shift, and be able to work around live equipment, on ladders, and among our psychiatric patient population.  Interpersonal skills a must.  


Salary Rate: $44.65 / hourly


Job Qualifications

  • 5 years Facilities management or related experience or training
  • Ability to stay organized and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a wide variety of construction and maintenance skills.
  • Ability to work as a team to accomplish the departments goals.
  • Ability to work in a safely among live equipment.
  • Able to adapt to changes in the workload.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
