Member Emergency Fund Request (Internal Use Only)
Lead For AmericaAbout the role
The Member Emergency Fund is a program offered by Lead For America (LFA) that provides financial assistance to current or former members of LFA's programs who are facing unexpected financial hardships. The fund is designed to help members meet basic needs during times of crisis or unforeseen circumstances.
To be eligible for the Member Emergency Fund, applicants must have completed at least 6 months of service in an LFA program, which includes the American Connection Corps (ACC) and other LFA fellowship programs.
Please note that funding is limited and grants from the Member Emergency Fund are awarded on a case-by-case basis. Members can request assistance for a variety of circumstances such as medical expenses, emergency travel, housing insecurity, and other urgent financial needs.
If you are a current or former LFA program member facing a financial emergency, we encourage you to submit a Member Emergency Fund Request. All requests will be reviewed promptly and confidentially, and we will do our best to provide support during your time of need.
