Associate, Aladdin Client Transformations, Project Management

About this role

This Atlanta based role will be a member of the Project Management team within Delivery and Execution.  This person is responsible for project delivery and management to ensure successful implementations of eFront / Aladdin software solutions.  The Project Managers are expected tare expected to be organized and efficient, balancing multiple client engagements concurrently. o be organized, efficient, and balance multiple client engagements concurrently.  The highest level of client service is expected as the Project Manager will drive the project to completion, build client relationships and exceed client expectations to meet deadlines, ensuring a happy, referenceable client.

The ideal candidate would be expected to be a teammate, bring new insights and assist in process improvement once familiar with our implementation technology, clients and processes.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Effective overall responsibility for project delivery and management of key elements including scope, deliverables, resources, timelines and budget.
• Continuously refine project management process and standards, adopting best practices to ensure optimal value delivery.
• Identify target milestones and create detailed project plans.
• Manage and communicate all deviations from plan.
• Monitor and control projects by actively identifying, tracking, managing, mitigating and resolving project issues and risks – provide the requested internal and external reporting.
• Conduct project meetings, collaborate with project team members to build consensus on complicated issues.
• Communicate requirements and actively set & manage expectations to ensure all team members and stakeholders are accountable for their role in the project’s overall success.
• Project documentation such as SOWs, weekly status reports, issue/risk logs, time analyses and analyzing/estimating project costs and forecasts.
• Manage key stakeholders on customer side by setting appropriate expectations, ensure proper communication and manage crisis.
• Manage interactions with eFront internal teams
• Defining and following up on the schedule and the quality of the deliverables.

Project Manager Education and Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Must have consulting experience working with external clients.
• Detail oriented, proactive teammate with a can-do attitude
• Minimum of 3 years related experience in financial services & alternative investments, software and/or a large consulting firm industries.
• Project management qualifications such as PMBOK, PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, a plus.
• Leadership/ability to mobilize internal and external teams.
• Communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness.
• Ability to resolve/negotiate issues or complex challenges, particularly around scope, timelines and budgets.
• Proven experience in resource management.
• Experience facilitating and / or leading and executive level meetings.
• Client facing and presentation skills.
• Understanding of financial statements, revenue recognition and forecasting.
• Ability to travel 25-50% or as needed (mostly US and Canada) as well as some international travel.

 

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
