Your Mission
We are seeking a strategic, and detail-oriented Royalty & Client Services person to join our global team. You will be responsible for core tasks which require attention to detail, patience, and time management. In this role, you will have tasks that are required to be completed on a defined schedule as well as many ad hoc tasks which support the greater team. We hope that you’ll be inspired to build onto existing processes you’re responsible for and offer suggestions on how we can evolve team processes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare Publishing Distributions on a quarterly basis. This will include, but not limited to, creating draft/final payment files, validation files, Payments Due List for finance, coordinating with finance day of distribution and notifying clients.
- Prepare and maintain the Off-Cycle Payment process for the Royalty Teams and Finance Department.
- Work with our Finance department and outside counsel to facilitate annual/ seasonal Escheatment review.
- Responsible for monitoring and assigning internal/external inquiries from the BMG client ticketing system (Jira).
- Prepare and release quarterly client outreach for VIP clients and coordinate with A/V department.
- Perform client updates within our systems to ensure proper payment and account details are on record.
- Assist clients and their management with admin support regarding our online portal, myBMG.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed to support the department and BMG clients.
- Investigate, review, and complete inquiries internally and externally by way of research, problem solving and collaboration with other departments.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Intermediate skills with MS Excel: V-look, pivot tables, cleaning data, conditional formatting, etc.
- Previous years of industry or related experience working with publishing royalties, financial accounting, and client services.
- Strong interpersonal skills: being able to define the appropriate type of communication for internal and external conversations based on the situation, approaching clients with patience and empathy, and being able to build relationships with our clients and colleagues.
- Ability to transition between an analytical & servicing mind set.
- Previous experience with Jira Service Desk & SAP.

Pay Range
$63,000-$67,000 per annum
