The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing and building the security posture that will protect and grow the business.You will work closely with other senior leaders, engineers, and stakeholders across the enterprise, and will be responsible for creating and implementing the cloud security standards that enable the business to execute and innovate.Job Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain a cloud security strategy and roadmap that
aligns with our business objectives.
• Establish cloud security policies, standards, reporting, and governance.
• Provide guidance and support to engineering teams and business groups on
cloud security design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Partner directly with other principals and with engineering teams to build
security solutions and directly enhance our security posture.
• Establish monitoring and auditing solutions to ensure our cloud security
posture.
• Identify, communicate, and remediate cloud security gaps, vulnerabilities, and
incidents.
• Research and evaluate emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Train and educate engineers, leaders, and stakeholders on cloud security
awareness and best practices.
Job Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years of experience
in cloud security.
• Expert knowledge of cloud security principles, practices, and technologies for
infrastructure, networking, containerized applications.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures
and frameworks for cloud platforms and services.
• Experience implementing security controls for synchronous, asynchronous, and
streaming applications working with data at scale.
• Proven experience in implementing SecDevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with one or more top AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI or Meta
Llama, including thorough knowledge of security best practices.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product vendors and other IT and
engineering teams to achieve strategic goals.
• Ability to perform threat modeling and security risk assessments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven
ability to align diverse groups.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
$210,000 and $314,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
