We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, POM Product Management to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in New York, NY, Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead product development and strategy for large and/or complex products, typically assigned to high-growth product areas with fully developed core expertise in industry trends, market segments, and competitor profiles.
• Utilize experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive product initiatives.
• Direct the overall product strategy for the organization.
• Manage and lead the product management team.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives.
• Lead product launch and go-to-market strategy.
• Use subject matter expertise, experience, and thought leadership to influence and direct the product management team, key stakeholders, and senior leaders.
• Modify product strategies based upon local regulations and requirements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 10-12+ years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with a proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
• Prior experience working in the financial industry preferred.
• A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams.
• High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $127,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
