Job Description

The Academic Pathways Manager, based in Academic Services, plays a pivotal role in driving strategic recruitment efforts to boost enrollment at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) and support prospective students in Southern Nevada's Collegiate Academy Schools. With a focus on Clark County, the Manager will spearhead initiatives to enhance awareness and engagement with UNR’s admissions and financial aid processes, particularly for Dual Credit students and their families.

In close collaboration with the Clark County School District (and, as needed, Washoe County and other regions across Nevada), the Manager will design and implement streamlined procedures that make the transition to UNR smoother for students. Additionally, the role involves working alongside Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions and UNR’s Transfer Center to create pathways for students transferring from other Nevada colleges to continue their education at UNR.

A key priority will be developing new programs aimed at increasing access to higher education for underrepresented students in Clark County, providing them with clear routes to attend UNR. As a primary point of contact for Collegiate Academy Schools, the Manager will also collaborate with the Las Vegas Office for Prospective Students to strengthen UNR’s presence in Southern Nevada and build lasting relationships with schools and communities.
