What you will do-

As a Senior Analyst, Transportation, you will support the Global Transportation team’s objectives by delivering data insights and independently identifying opportunities. You will develop compelling business cases and effectively communicate your recommendations to stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on visual presentation skills. Technical proficiency with relational databases and the ability to lead and collaborate with developers on process development and improvement are essential.

  • Develop and present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Create analytics tools that leverage data pipelines to deliver actionable insights into transportation costs, service, quality, sustainability, and other key business performance metrics.
  • Leverage your transportation industry expertise to derive value from Stryker's diverse datasets, focusing on the intersections between freight and non-freight data across transportation modes such as parcel, LTL, truckload, air cargo, and ocean transportation.
  • Conceptualize and design BI reporting, contributing to development as required (ranging from leading without development to fully designing and building).
  • Offer an analytics perspective to non-analytics team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure robust and comprehensive data infrastructure; build and maintain as needed.

What you need-

  • Expertise in creating compelling visualizations and narratives to effectively communicate findings
  • Deep understanding of transportation principles, pricing, and methods for identifying cost savings
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases and data visualization tools.
  • Self-starter with proven experience in data analysis and storytelling within logistics/transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, driving projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required (supply chain, finance, information systems, or related field of study)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience

$58,700.00 - $118,600.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
