Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacy Packing Clerk Trainer to lead and support the training of new and existing team members in our pharmacy packing operations. This role is essential in ensuring all Pharmacy Packing Clerks are well-prepared to accurately and efficiently pack medications while maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others.

How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare Training & Development:

• Conduct hands-on training sessions for new Pharmacy Packing Clerks on packing procedures, quality standards, and compliance regulations.
  
  
• Provide ongoing coaching and skill development for existing team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  
  
• Develop and update training materials, including checklists, guides, and best practices for packing operations.
  
  
• Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  
  

Operational Support:

• Oversee packing processes to ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and company quality standards.
  
  
• Serve as a point of contact for packing-related questions and troubleshooting.
  
  
• Assist with daily pharmacy packing operations as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
  
  

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure team members follow all pharmacy regulations, safety protocols, and HIPAA guidelines.
  
  
• Conduct quality assurance checks on packed orders to verify accuracy and proper labeling.
  
  
• Identify and address errors or inconsistencies in packing processes and implement corrective actions.
  
  

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

• Work closely with pharmacy leadership to identify training needs and implement process improvements.
  
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages learning and growth.
  
  
• Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend enhancements to training programs.
  
  

A Few Things About You Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in pharmacy or healthcare-related fields is a plus.
  
  
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or warehouse setting is required.
  
  
• Prior experience in training, mentoring, or leadership roles is strongly preferred.
