SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs building and grounds inspections; identifies, assigns, and monitors work directives for custodial and maintenance projects; ensures that all safety regulations, and operational, custodial, and maintenance procedures are followed.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conducts site visits to ensure quality custodial, preventive maintenance, grounds and other related operational services.
- Inspects worksite to assure quality work performance and effective use of resources.
- Works independently and makes appropriate decisions based on work experience; duties may vary according to job assignment and individual skills.
- Trains or provides for the training of staff in work procedures.
- Identifies and documents building maintenance and labor performance issues; works with employees and others to address labor and material allocations and address labor performance deficiencies.
- Assists Site Leads with trouble shooting maintenance and repair issues and implements solutions.
- Documents and reports issues and corrective actions plan and or resolution.
- Implements and reviews various maintenance logs to ensure quality and timely service for complete building maintenance including mechanical systems and custodial work.
- Monitors work sites to assure that safety rules and regulations are followed, and that work zones and equipment are in safe operating condition; documents and reports safety and security issues.
- Assists in requisitions or purchases of required material, equipment and supplies; suggests alternative materials and evaluates the effectiveness of new materials and equipment.
- Assist in training work crew in maintenance and operational procedures and techniques, safety procedures and work techniques and the use and maintenance of equipment and tools.
