About the role

Supports the Clinical Research Department in managing the clinical trial patients by assisting with patient identification, screening, registration and clinical trial data collection.  Assists the Clinical Research department in the in-take, enrollment and management of patients in the Clinical Research Department.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a State recognized vocational school. Or equivalent education/experience.
  • Background in medical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Phlebotomy Certificate (for Department 10007439 - Research Projects CA SJMC Fullerton) upon hire.
  • New graduate, entry level experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical lab or ambulatory care setting.
  • Clinical research experience in oncology.
  • 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist in a clinical laboratory and ambulatory care setting, with special training, as appropriate.
  • EMR or IDX experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
