Job Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Data Conversion Specialist to join our rapidly expanding Cloud Practice. This role is critical in supporting our clients' data migration initiatives as they transition from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud ERP. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data conversion processes with strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, data mapping, and Oracle Cloud implementation. Public sector experience is a plus. Job Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end data conversion processes for Oracle Cloud HCM, Finance, and SCM implementations
- Develop conversion scripts using PL/SQL queries, packages, and stored procedures
- Load client data using HDL, HCM extracts, and FBDI formats
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and transformation mapping
- Troubleshoot conversion development issues in pre-validation, data loading, and post-validation processes
- Create comprehensive data validation and reconciliation scripts
- Utilize Alteryx for data mapping and translation using KPMG conversion templates
- Work with OIC-ATP for data mapping and translation to create FBDI files
- Collaborate with business and functional teams on data mapping requirements
- Support testing phases including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and post-go-live validation
- Document conversion processes and provide client training
- Support cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related and/or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience implementing full cycle Oracle HCM and ERP (Finance and SCM) cloud
- Oracle SaaS technical implementation (application developer/implementor) certification required
- PL/SQL expert level skills
- Experience with PeopleSoft systems and Oracle database custom applications
- Strong data mapping knowledge and experience working with business and functional teams
- Experience with SDLC development cycle, code repository, code control and change control processes
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Alteryx experience for data conversion and mapping
- Understanding of OIC-ATP, data mapping and translation processes
- PeopleSoft technical experience and bolt-on integration background
- Back-end knowledge (SQR, Report engine)
- Understanding of Oracle GenAI Services for use with SaaS (HCM/FIN/SCM)
- Drupal Web content application experience
- Public sector/government implementation experience
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) certification
