Registered Nurse (RN) | Urgent Care Centers

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at Atrium Health Navicent Urgent Care.   As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. This role requires a thorough understanding of nursing procedures, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and clinical support to patients in an urgent care setting.
• Assess patients' conditions, take vital signs, and provide appropriate treatment based on clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Assist in wound care, suturing, and minor procedures as needed.
• Educate patients on their diagnoses, treatments, and preventive healthcare measures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
• Ensure proper infection control practices are followed.

 

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Georgia.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
