Advanced Endodontics is a specialty dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We believe in creating a welcoming environment for all our patients and aim to provide care with compassion and respect. We are seeking a part-time / as-needed Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our front desk staff. If you have a passion for patient care and the dental field, we want to hear from you!

The Temporary Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors, managing the daily front desk operations, and supporting the dental team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally

  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar

  • Verify patient insurance and collect co-pays or other payments

  • Maintain patient records and update information in the practice management system

  • Handle patient check-in and check-out procedures

  • Communicate effectively with dental staff to ensure smooth office flow

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

  • Assist with other clerical duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior front desk or receptionist experience in a dental or medical office preferred

  • Familiarity with dental office software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor

  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
