Requirements
- Bachelor’s
or master’s degree in bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6-8
years of experience in bioinformatics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency
in programming languages Ex: Python, R, or Java.
- Experience
with data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong
knowledge of bioinformatics databases, tools, and resources (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser).
- Experience
with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS).
- Familiarity
with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong
communication skills and the ability to present complex data findings to a non-technical audience.
