JOB TITLE:
Office Associate, Senior
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform advanced office and administrative/management support tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform administrative tasks and projects in support of the University Counseling Center (UCC) which will include the oversight of all office functions; manage front desk, answer phones and troubleshoot critical needs for individuals; greet visitors and assess their needs, directing them to the appropriate next step; schedule meetings and coordinate staff schedules; order supplies, coordinate office outreach, design and maintain website and marketing materials; compose emails, take notes and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Communicate with the public via phone, email, and in person regarding services. Direct inquiries to other UCC staff and/or other UW staff, as needed. Coordinate information between individuals, departments and/or outside agencies as directed.
- Maintain a filing system for electronic and hardcopy documents.
- Make recommendations on and revise existing office policies, systems, methods, and procedures; create/revise related documentation. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s degree
Experience: 1 year progressively responsible work-related experience
Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: None
Experience answering telephones, maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments and group meetings.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using Microsoft Suite - Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams and Zoom.
- Dedication to working as a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Experience updating website content in a content management system (CMS) or similar program.
