As an unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to incidents when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or persons to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions and basic information about the location as needed.
• Participate in emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
